Facial scrubs have become a normal part of my weekly skin care regimen. I started thinking about the health of my skin in my mid-twenties. I made sure I washed all of my makeup off at night and I would use moisturizer and sunscreen as often as I felt I needed to. During my early thirties, I developed better habits in regards to my skin, however, as I approached my forties a healthy skin care regimen became a top priority. I am picky about what I put on my face, because I have sensitive skin, and I don’t want to experience any type of break outs.
Exfoliating is important because as we age, our cell regeneration slows down, which means that if we don’t remove the dead skin cells, we are left with rough, dry, dull looking skin. You should use an exfoliant once (if you have sensitive skin) or twice a week. However, you should NOT exfoliate more than three times per week.
Regular exfoliation will help you to achieve healthier, brighter looking skin. These are some of the facial scrubs that I use as a part of my healthy skin care regimen, and to keep my skin glowing. I like them because they are each effective, yet gentle on my sensitive skin.
